What parents ask us
My child speaks no German or English. Will they cope?
Yes. Romanian stays the language your child is understood in all day. The others come through routine and repetition. Settling in is gradual, on a plan agreed with you, shaped by your child's needs, their emotional development and the time you have.
Is there English too?
Yes, there are activities led by the groups' own educators.
From what age do you accept children?
From 1 year and 8 months, in the nursery (Ladybugs Class and Juniors Class). From 3 in kindergarten, starting in the Schmetterlingsgruppe. The groups run to age 6.
What are the hours?
Monday–Friday: 7:30–12:30 on the short programme, 7:30–17:00 on the long one.
What happens during the holidays?
The kindergarten closes for 10 working days a year: 9 days over the winter holidays (23.12.2026–08.01.2027) and one day at Easter (Tuesday, 4.05.2027). For the rest, we run holiday activities if at least 10 children from the long programme sign up, under a separate contract.
What about meals?
Meals are paid separately: 22 lei a day on the short programme (breakfast 8:30, fruit snack 10:00, lunch 12:00) and 24 lei a day on the long one, with dessert at 15:30–16:00 and at 17:00. The food comes from Helene Cuisine, who we have worked with since 2012. The menu is posted at the entrance and in the app.
What does it cost?
1,500 lei a month on the short programme and 1,700 lei on the long one, paid monthly. Meals separately: 22 lei a day short, 24 lei a day long. Siblings get 10% off each.
Can a child start mid-year?
Yes, if there are places. We accept children from 1 year and 8 months.
